Samod Haveli
Hotel Samode Haveli is located
close to all the tourist places in Jaipur. Rawal Sheo Singhji, a Prime
Minister in the Jaipur court, who belonged to the family of Samode, built
Samode Haveli over 150 years ago. The property was constructed facing
North away from the burning Rajasthan sun and features a spectacular
painted dining room, an airy verandah and an elephant ramp at the entrance
which was constructed in the 1940's for the marriage ceremony of the late
Rawal Sahib's aunt. Samode Haveli was converted into a heritage hotel in
1988.
Samode Haveli Hotel offers 29 well-appointed rooms and suites. Each room
and suite is individually designed and furnished with genuine antiques and
fixtures. Most of the rooms have a separate dressing area. All rooms are
with en suite bathrooms with shower and tub with hot and cold water, air
conditioning, television with cable connection and telephones with
international dialing facilities.
