Day 1 - Cochin
-
Upon
arrival at Kochi/ Cochin our representative will meet and assist you at
the railway station /airport and transfer to your hotel. It is followed
by a Half day sightseeing of Cochin City. The sightseeing of Cochin
includes the Chinese fishing nets, the Vasco Da Gama Square, Santa Cruz
Basilica, St. Francis Church and the Bastion Bungalow. Overnight stay
will be at hotel.
Day 2 - Cochin » Munnar

After
breakfast we will take you to Munnar enjoying the scenic beauty,
mountains and low flying clouds passing by on the way. In the evening
you will go for a sightseeing of Munnar that includes the Raja Malai,
the highest peak of Munnar where you can spot the Neel Thar. Overnight
stay will be at Munnar.
Day 3 - Munnar

Breakfast follows a visit to tea plantations, Anamudi peak, Eravikulam
National Park, Devikulam, Mattupetty and Pallivasal. Rest of the day
will be at leisure. Overnight will be at Munnar.
Day 4 - Munnar »
Periyar
-
In
the morning you will proceed to Periyar visiting the Idukki dam on your
way. Upon arrival you check in at hotel. The Periyar wildlife sanctuary
is home to numerous nomadic tribes of wild elephants, deer, boar, Indian
tiger and more. In the evening you will go for a boat cruise on the
Periyar Lake to watch wild animals. Overnight stay will be at Periyar.
Day 5 -
Periyar »
Kumarakom
-
After breakfast you will cruise through the Periyar lake to spot the
rare species of plants and animals. In the afternoon you will visit
the spice plantations such as cardamom, pepper, cinnamon and coffee
and tea plantations. While returning back you can pick up some spices
from the local market. Overnight will be at Periyar.
Day 6 -
Kumarakom »
House Boat
-
Early morning you will proceed to Kumarakom, another beautiful and
exotic destination in Kerala. Upon reaching you will explore the
Kumarakom bird Sanctuary and then proceed to the Vembanand Lake. You
will be amazed to know that the backwaters of Kerala are a unique to
Kerala and are found nowhere else. Backwaters are a network of lakes,
canals and estuaries that drain into the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay
will be at the Houseboat.

Day 8 - Poovar

Upon reaching Alleppey you will disembark the houseboat at Alleppey.
Alleppey/Alappuzha is so very well known for its boat races,
houseboats and coir products. Kuttanad is known for its rice
cultivation and is called the 'Rice Bowl' of Kerala. Kuttanad is
sandwiched between the sea on the one hand and the hills on the other.
Later you will check in at the resort and then explore the colorful
and lively Kerala villages and backwaters. Overnight stay will be at
Alleppey.
