New Delhi (2 day sight seeing)

Day 1 - Delhi is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world. Having been the capital of several empires in ancient India, Delhi was a major city in the old trade routes from northwest India to the Gangetic Plains.

 

Day 2 - A full day sight seeing of Delhi. Starting with Old Delhi with a visit to Red Fort, the Jama Masjid. In the afternoon visiting New Delhi, seeing the India gate, Parliament house, the Secretariat building and the Presidential house.

 

Agra (1 day sight seeing)

Day 1 - Early morning drive to Agra. On the way visit Sikandra - the tomb of Akbar. Visit the extraordinary Taj Mahal - considered the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Same day return back to New Delhi.

 

Or if you are staying overnight at hotel. Next day early morning visit Fatehpur Sikri, the perfectly preserved 16th-century Mughal capital of Emperor Akbar. Jaipur named after its buildings of soft pink stucco. Then drive back to New Delhi.

 

Jaipur (2 day sight seeing)

Day 1 - Early morning drive to Jaipur "The Pink City". (If you are coming Jaipur via Agra then visit Fatehpur Sikri, the perfectly preserved 16th-century Mughal capital of Emperor Akbar. Jaipur named after its buildings of soft pink stucco).

 

Encounter Rajasthani grandeur at the City Palace, where rare manuscripts, swords, and paintings are on display. At the 17th-century astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar, view a magnificent 90-foot sundial, and then admire the elaborate facade of the Palace of Winds. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 2 - Spend the morning at the Amber Fort, a majestic fortress-palace decorated with intricate paintings and mosaics. This afternoon, there is time to explore Jaipur's vibrant arts and crafts markets on your own. Travel into the countryside for a special dinner with folk entertainment. Next day early morning drive to New Delhi.

 

Mandawa (1 day sight seeing)

Day 1 - Early morning drive to Mandawa - a town in Shekhawati region. This town and the nearby areas of Shekhawati region are famed for its beautiful painted haveli’s (mansions) which were constructed by wealthy merchants of the region in the 18th and 19th centuries. Overnight in Hotel. Next day early morning drive to New Delhi.

 

Udaipur (2 day sight seeing)

Day 1 - Fly to Udaipur (The City of Lakes). Visit City Palace campus, Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Garden of the maids of honor) where Maharana Sangram Singh build this garden complex with fountains and lakes for his beautiful daughter. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 2 - Visit the City Palace the richest palace museum in the entire Rajasthan, visit local market. In the evening we take a lake cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola by sunset and visit the island palace Jagmandir where according to legends the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan lived and got inspired to build the Taj Mahal later. Overnight stay at hotel and next day early morning flight to New Delhi.

 

Pushkar (1 day sight seeing)

Day 1 - Drive to Pushkar via Jaipur. Visit the holy city of Pushkar along the bank of the picturesque Pushkar Lake, an important pilgrimage spot for Hindus. According to the Hindus mythology Pushkar it is considered that Lord Brahma (the Creator) and his wife Saraswati (the goddess of learning and music) performed a ritual in the lake. Here we visit the only Brahma temple in the world before intermingling with the local colors in the local bazaar. Pushkar is also world famous for its cattle fair, which is held each year in the month of October/November. Overnight stay at hotel. Next day drive back to New Delhi via Jaipur.

 

Varanasi (2 days sight seeing)

Day 1 - Flight or overnight train to Varanasi, formerly known as Banaras, is one of the most important religious cities in India. When you walk the crowded streets of the old city near the Ganges River, you will see holy men, holy cows, and holy temples all over the place.

 

Day 2 - Early in the morning at the time of sunrise we take you to banks of the river Ganges where we board a boat to see the morning ablutions of the Hindus from the security of our boat. The boat ride starts from Dasashwamedh Ghat and ends at Manikarnika Ghat along the sacred Ganges, You can visit Assi Ghat, Dasaswamedh Ghat, Harish Chandra Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, Tulsi Ghat. See the Kashi Vishwanath temple and the Gyanvyapi kund and the mosque attached to it. Also visit the Benares Hindu University the largest residential university in India with more than 3000 residential students. Return to your hotel for breakfast. Later visit Sarnath the sacred city for the Buddhist all over the world. It was here that Lord Buddha preached his first sermon to his first five disciples. Also worth visiting is the museum with artifacts dating back to 3rd century BC. Visit the nearby ruins of the ancient seat of learning in Sarnath. Flight or overnight train to New Delhi.

 

Jaisalmer (2 days sight seeing)

Day 1 - Fly to Jodhpur then drive to Jaisalmer. Driving through the Rajasthani Thar desert you arrive at Jaisalmer, one of the jewels in India’s crown. Exquisite wood and sandstone buildings dot the town and within Jaisalmer Fort are homes, hotels and shops hidden in ancient lane ways. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 2 - Visiting the JAISALMER FORT - the oldest living Fort in the world and some astonishing havelis (Mansions). In the afternoon, proceed to the SAM or KHURI SAND DUNES for brief Camel safari & a typical Rajasthani Desert Village. View the sunset from the dunes, as the sky is set on fire. Return to the village for dinner amidst Rajasthani musicians playing haunting tunes. Overnight stay at Swiss Tent Camp / hotel. Next day drive to Jodhpur and fly to New Delhi.

 

Jodhpur (1 day sight seeing)

Day 1 - Fly to Jodhpur. Go for city tour of Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, rising up a hilly scarp, built on the advice of a hermit, overlooking the city of blue houses in the image of a long sentinel. Overnight stay at hotel. Next day fly back to New Delhi.

 

Ranthambhore (1 day safari)

Day 1 - Drive to Ranthambhore via Jaipur / Agra. Sawai-madhopur is the entry point to Ranthambore National Park, which is surrounded by the Vindayas and the Aravali Hills. Amidst vast, arid and denuded tracts of the desert ecology of Rajasthan lies the oasis of biomass. The Ranthambore National Park is spread over an area of 392 sq. kms of thick forest with nullahas and waterfalls. On arrival in Sawai-madhopur transfer to your lodge. Late afternoon jungle safari in a private Jeep (04 people) or in a Canter (to carry 20 people) to view the wildlife which includes the Tiger, Panther, Hyena, Jackal, Jungle Cat, Caracal, Sloth Bear, Cheetal, Nilgai, Wild Boar, Chinkara, Indian Hare, Mongoose, Leopard, Ratal, Fox & Sambar Deer, the pride of the park. Next day drive back to New Delhi via Jaipur / Agra.
