(August). This festival of Teej is also dedicated to the god

People decorated their house and shops with flowers on this
festival of Teej in Jaipur. Many people goes to the temple of
Goddess parvati and pray for them and their family. The young

Kajli Teej of Bundi
Teej festival is very popular in Rajasthan, But kajli Teej of
Bundi is very famous festival in all over the Rajasthan. Kajli
Teej celebrated in the month of august-September in every year.
It is the celebration of monsoons(august). The teej festival is
celebrated on the third day of the month of Shravana on many
places in state, But it is celebrated on the third day of the
month of Bhadra in Bundi.
The kajli teej festival starts with colorful procession of
goddess. This procession goes through the main market at Azad
Park. The procession has decorated camels, elephants, music
bands, performing artists and colourful new dressed people.
on this occasion women’s prepare delicious food and sweets for
his family. Traditional and cultural programmes that are
organised in the evenings. the main attraction of Teej is held
only on two days, the celebrations continue up to Janmashtami.
